Thank You Lord

Thank You Lord

Thank you Lord,

For getting me through another day.

Thank you Lord,

Even when I forgot to stop and pray.

And thank you Lord,

For giving me the strength to run this race.

And at the end of the day,

I can always count on your embrace!

And so my heart cries out,

“Thank you Lord.”

Thank you Lord,

For seeing me through another night.

Thank you Lord,

For not giving up on me when my life’s not right.

Thank you Lord,

For pouring blessings down on me I don’t deserve.

Sometimes I may loose sight,

Although I want to serve,

I come back to you and say:

“I thank you Lord.”
