Put a smile on your face—

But I feel so empty inside.

There’s peace to be found—

But I’m lost, Oh so lost.

Don’t worry about tomorrow,

It’s today that brings me pain.

Cast all your cares on Him

Why burden Him with my sorrow?

Don’t you know that He loves you?

Yes, I recognize that.

Can’t you see that He cares for you?

Yes, I believe that He does.

Then why do you doubt in His saving grace?

Because, I have no strength left to finish this race.

It’s ok, my child, but one thing you should know—

You’re being carried to the finish line.
